Tommorow is my last day of high school. :sadder:    I have some uneasy feelings. I've figured it out though, I'm not going to miss going to school because I'm going to college next year, I'm going to miss the people I was around. Graduation is on Friday though, *gulp* I hope my speech will go alright.

Hey, a six in mini golf especally there is pretty good. I was just happy that hole 17 didn't eat me alive.

Alright, back to the matter at hand, my grad speech.

Let me start of with who hoo we made it! Who knew that after a period of thirteen years, we would finally be here. All right so all of us did but it’s so different now that we’re here. There’s a lot that we’ve been through. In elementary school it was that we were always with the same people. Same things happened, everything was predictable, and any change turned out to be welcome.
When we made it into junior high, we were loud, obnoxious, little twerps who couldn’t take directions. During class meetings we would get nothing accomplished and the only way that we would pay attention even for a millisecond was when either Mr. Dahle or Mr. Mackai would yell at us. I think it would be safe to say that we weren’t well liked by teachers, and we definitely didn’t like each other. We we’re even told, that unless we got our act together we would never have a junior prom and we wouldn’t be at graduation with caps and gowns. As you can see, we eventually got our act together.
Now we sit here, on the stage with a sense of uniformity. We are seniors; the class of 2004. We’ve learned to get along, I think it is now safe to say that we’re all friends, teachers now like us, and there’s so much more for us to accomplish. Most of us know where we’re going to be in the next few years, but what we’re going to do, we may not know.
A thought crossed my mind on Wednesday as I was leaving one of my classes. As a rule I am the last one to leave the class and as I’m leaving I say good bye and I will see the teacher tomorrow or Monday. That just wasn’t the case this time. I couldn’t say that I’d see them any time soon, just that I would see them around. I walked out of the door and closed it in my usual manner, I heard it click and I just about started to cry. So often in our lives doors close and things that you once did, you can’t do any more. This is a door that is about to close, but so many more have just opened. We still have our memories, we still have each other as friends, but we can still stay in contact, it will just be a little harder. That is one door I don’t think will close.
I will leave you with one last thought, memories may last but a moment, but true friends last a lifetime.

That's my speech.

Update... My speech went extreamly well. I got a few laughs, my classmates shed a few tears and, my classmates said that it really made them think. Thats it for now
