Mary's Margaret

"It comes naturally because we're so close in the heart of Jesus" (may not be exactly verbatum, but close) An aspiration for us all: to be so close in the heart of Jesus that both to sing and to love come naturally.

I just preordered it also. Can't wait til it arrives. I'm having knee surgery Nov. 13th, and will be out of commission for a few weeks. I've got to get started pulling out the tree, decorations, etc. so I can "supervise" my husband as he puts them up on Thanksgiving (a family tradition). I've got all my shopping done for the grandkids and husband (let's hear it for the internet!!! ) and will wrap them (gifts , not hubby) when Christmas paper arrives in the stores. We had a heavy frost and a few flurries here in southern Wisconsin this a.m. Can real snow be far behind?!

 • 3 weeks later...

I received my CD yesterday and can't stop playing it, It's over an hour of the most beautiful a cappella singing by the nuns. They sound truly angelic...and I'm a "music snob" :) If you can afford to purchase it I would highly recommend it

I bet! I brought a CD of theirs home for my mother. It was so beautiful, but as a house full of people it did get lost... Saint Anthony has his work cut out for him for this one.. I can't find it anywhere :(

I saw this on EWTN today; that they are going to have the making of "Advent At Ephesus" this Sunday (12/2/12) the first Sunday of Advent so that's very fitting! :) It will be a 30 minute program. It will be at 11:00 am. They will also be having it on Dec. 5th at 4:00 am and 10:00 pm.

"Explore the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles Priory of Our Lady of Ephesus, which became a modern, high-tech recording studio for three days in Fall of 2012 to produce an album of sacred music for the Advent season." EWTN

I'm sure it will be worth watching! :)

Soooo beautiful!  It reminds me of being on retreat with the Nashville Dominicans...so hauntingly beautiful yet so simple.
