Anastasia13
To what extent does reason affect your faith and vice versa?
To Jesus Through Mary
Reason is always subordinate to faith, but it is obviously given to us for a reason. This pretty much sums it up (one of my favorite encyclicals) http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/john_paul_ii/encyclicals/documents/hf_jp-ii_enc_15101998_fides-et-ratio_en.html

BG45
God gave me a brain so that I could use it, even when it seems like I'm not. Reason informs my faith and strengthens it; without reason, I'd not be a Catholic, because it helped me greatly (alongside friends) on my path to the Church. Egidio
If we give reason the name 'philosophy' (which is the seeking of truth by means of reason), and we give faith the name 'theology' (which is the seeking of truth by means of revelation), then we can say that Philosophy is the diaconia (servant) of theology. Ultimately, we need reason so that we may come to know and understand God better, and therefore love Him more perfectly. You may sometimes hear people say that what God's asks is impossible, which would be the same as saying that God is unreasonable...which is just not possible (for reasons which I hope are obvious). The truths of God are often above our reason, but they are never against or contrary to reason. http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/benedict_xvi/speeches/2006/september/documents/hf_ben-xvi_spe_20060912_university-regensburg_en.html This is also very good. (Unfortunately this speech got hijacked by the media, and everyone missed the point of this speech.)
