Amppax
The story of the wasp made me laugh. Question for you though, have you ever read the book "The Intellectual Life" by A.G. Sertillanges? If so, what dd you think? If not you should.

Amppax
Never heard of it. Wiki and Amazon aren't telling me much - how would you describe it? http://www.catholiclibrary.ie/booknotes/sertillanges/index.htm I haven't finished it, which is part of why I asked. Above is a nice simple review. From what I'm seeing so far, it is basically a how to be an intellectual from a very Catholic/Thomistic perspective. It's talks a lot about it as a vocation, and it is both sound advice and very inspiring. For whatever reason, you were one of the people I thought of when I began reading it. It seemed like something you'd either have read or would know.

Unfortunately, the Ritalin makes that time of my life but a haze so I can't really remember much. I shall have to dig it out and take it up again. Ritalin does not make one an intellectual. That is the lesson to be learned here.
