Ever time I say these prayers:

O God, whose only begotten Son, by his life, death, and resurrection has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life, grant , we beseech thee, that meditating upon these mysteries of the most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain, and obtain what they promise; through the same Christ our Lord. Amen

And:
Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts; that we, to whom the incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection, through the same Christ Our Lord.

I thought the same thing! That is why I am so excited. In the past I have looked at all the FSSP Nigeria pictures and thought about how great their work is over there, and then completely by coincidence it turns out that he is the one who was working so hard the whole time.

some people are harsher on themselves than a priest could ever be. i usually get to meditate on Scripture passages.

Our previous priest often would tell us (or at least me) to pray however many decades of the rosary for the souls in purgatory. I thought that was a nice touch.

I have often noticed that as well, mostly because it makes it a PAIN to interpret into Sign Language!

I usually am, harder on myself that is. And I usually get a Hail Mary, an Our Father, and a Glory Be for a specific intention assigned by the priest. Though the other priest in town...I went and confessed to him once, nothing too "bad" and had to do a Novena to the Holy Spirit.
