You can fix ignorance, but not stupid.

Your post doesn't have anything to do with what I said.

True, but it's so beautiful and radiant that I can't help but look at it and talk about it. It's constantly on my mind.

I'm adopted from north China but everyone says I look Korean, so I'm guessing that one of my parents was North Korean.

My parents are Irish, German, Italian, French, English, Welsh, French Canadian, and Polish.

Beaver dam, fp. Not everyone is as gay as you. Sheesh.

Lame response from a lame person that has no good replies left in his deck of cards.

This is something I have been wondering about for some time. Is there any reliable way to make at least a reasonable guess based on appearance as to whether someone is Chinese, Korean, Japanese, etc.?

From what I've seen when Asians explain differences, the shape of their eyes plays a pretty big role in where you are from in Asia.

I spent two summers around mostly-undisciplined Chinese kids who still live in China and let me tell you, they look WAY more Asian than I do. My eyes are American compared to theirs. :japanese: CLOSE ENOUGH.

In terms of physical differences between people from different parts of the world, generally speaking I can tell that there are differences, but I cannot necessarily recognize what the differences are.

Except for, you know, the obvious ones. :|

Skin tone doesn't really say it all in terms of where people are from. You probably wouldn't be able to tell where I come from if I hadn't said so already. My picture you see isn't accurate with my skin tone. I'm respectably darker skinned than most white people, which is probably where my Cherokee comes in. The photo below shows my skin tone better, though my skin is technically darker. Lighting messes everything up in photos. I'll take some pictures of me later and see if I can get a more accurate presentation of my skin tone.

As you can see, much darker than the average neon-white person.
