Does that mean what I think it means?

No, just travel & work; also repairing my condo in GA while trying to find new tenants or a buyer.

Yesterday I learned my schedule for next year - I'm on a "no vacation" block during the month that my cousin expects to get married. I really hope I can figure out a way to go, maybe trade with someone.

Mom & I are going to visit grandma this weekend! Yay!! My grandmother is hilarious. I really wish she would let us move her to the US, but she does not want to leave her home. I can't blame her - Jamaica is beautiful.

MissScripture

Awww. But it sounds somewhat exciting...the traveling and such, not the finding new tenents.

How long do you get to spend with your Grandma?

Church was awesome today. Our priest was nearly 30 minutes late due to holiday traffic on the ferry. Only a handful of people left; everyone else waited patiently, we sang a few hymns & prayed the memorare together. Fr. JP felt horrible about being late, I think was comforted to see how full the church remained throughout mass. I just love our community.

I met 1/2 of my class during orientation today. They seem pretty cool. I hope the other 4 are as cool as the 5 I met today.

So far everyone seems fantastic. I'd be happy to go to any of my classmates for medical care. When I'm not overwhelmed or exhausted, I feel very lucky.

Residency, Family Medicine. I do plan to stay involved in research through collaborations.

There's no room in my schedule for research at this point.  I'm about 90-95% clinical (patient care) and 5-10% educational (taking classes); and I'll need to maintain this ratio until I pass my licensing exam.  Once I apply for my license, I'll be able to carve out research time.

Thanks for the support!  Prayers are so appreciated!!
