Adrestia
Ummm...there are white people, Native people, and oil workers, and that's about what you've got for diversity. Temps in the winter are cold and really cold and ridiculously cold. Temps in the summer range from cold to ridiculously hot. Always a lot of wind, rarely very humid. The beauty of the landscape kind of grows on a person, but not much for trees, and there is a whole lot of flat... So, I should come visit during the summer. :) Got it. Adrestia
In an attempt to be more Texan, I gave Whataburger another try. It was another FAIL. How does that place stay in business? Every time I have been there my food has been cold &/or not what I ordered. Today I ordered a burger, the receipt said it was a burger, so I drove away without inspecting the contents of the bag. I had received a fish sandwich with way too much mayo. Whatafailure. At least it wasn't cold this time.

Adrestia
Ethiopian wot sauce on sautéed chicken & peas, Jamaican curry on potatoes (sweet, red skinned, russet), corn on the cob, toasted bolillos. Oh yeah. I will pat myself on the back for this meal.

Adrestia
mmmmm... have you tried making injera bread? I have not. Real authentic injera requires an expensive flour, so I substitute with an inexpensive, local bread. I find gluten to be mighty tasty!

xTrishaxLynnx
Sweet! I love jalapenos! I used to get them for 33 cents per pound at a market in Oklahoma City. I ate a lot of jalapeno poppers, nachos, and jalapeno dips. Mmm!

Just save the seeds and let them dry out before planting. You can google "grow peppers from seeds" if you need more specific information, but I just plain old store bought soil, a little miracle grow, and used coffee grounds. I stayed on a farm for a while where they kept the seeds from the crops they kept for themselves (and / or canned) to plant the following year. It was a fun process, and much better than having to go buy a gazillion seeds every season!
