Visit To Monastery Of The Holy Rosary Summit Nj

Hello,

I thought some of you lovely folks would like to see some photos from my visit today to the Summit Dominicans. I didn't actually go inside the cloister, these are just photos of the chapel and exterior. I did hear the sisters sing Vespers which was absolutely lovely. The nuns are hidden behind the chapel grille, and I only caught a small glimpse of a novice.

Anyways, here they are. The presence of God was astonishing. Very peaceful chapel.

No, I was too shy. It was very funny to hear one of the nuns walking about next to the chapel wall, just like a ghost!

if anyone is interested in Brooklyn Carmel, I may take a visit out there one day and would be delighted to share photos. Myself, I am an old married lay benedictine but would be delighted to help out discerners who want some visuals.
