Apology - Friendship Requests

I am not too good with this 'behind the scenes' stuff, and not so hot on what is not 'behind the scenes' either.

I have just now become aware that if someone sends a friendship request and I very happily accept, what good Phatmass manners asks I should do is then send them a friendship request. I will do this and try to catch up and very happily so, very. Meanwhile, can I plead "I'm an Aussie" as some sort of excuse for my ignorance which came about from not reading properly about friendship requests in the first place - if it has always been as it is now. We Aussies can be pretty laid back and often not too fussed about rules and regulations - if no one is looking that is ..........or the eleventh commandment as we call it .......
- i.e. "Do not get caught".

Oh dear, I googled "Phatmass - Friendship Requests" and came across a post of mine back in July this year asking how to go about doing a Friendship Request. And then I post again INTO THAT THREAD, telling everyone how to go about it. Now I can't find how to go about it again.
Now you know why I am not married - no one could live with me.
At times I find it hard living with myself - and I can't take days off! LOL

To add insult to injury, I have been trying to post this for the past half an hour, but Phatmass keeps timing out on me. This computer is ancient and tired, weary - a new one is on the way but not here as yet. This week I think. I know its not Phatmass per se, but this computer, because at work, I have no problems with Phatmass at all.
