Persecuted Family

I visited my old parish this weekend and found that a family from Pakistan who were seeking asylum here have been rejected and deported. The couple have four young children, and the father is being falsely accused of blasphemy so they have been forced into hiding. Their area is very sympathetic to the Taliban and they are targeted for their faith.

Their case is being taken to the European Court of Human Rights so there is still some hope. Please pray that the decision will be favourable and that they will be kept safe from harm in the meantime. May the Lord reward them for their great faith.
