marching usually takes about an hour...though it depends where in the line you are to get on the road to actually move.

I went my first year in 2010 and loved it and am very glad I did it, but am quite satisfied with it as a memory.  Getting back was a nightmare.  And the claustrophobic side of me had a tiny issue with it.  I didn't feel like I got anything out of the mass either it was too long and I just went from taking 100 miligrams of Strattera to having no ADHD medication at all.  :-(

Will anyone be at the basilica on Saturday morning? I am not sure exactly what time I'll be there, but if you are there then please tell me so we might meet. I will have to stay with my group, I think we are doing a tour.

I will be at the youth rally remember my plan a page or so ago.  (The youth rally is the thing next to the mall that goes right into the March right?)

It should also be noted when I go to bed Wednesday night to when I get home Saturday morning I will have no web access.   I have no data plan.  The best way to get a hold of me is to text me.  PM me if you want my number.  Lil Monster and Brian the Physist can testify I am not annoying or worse, because they have my number.

I'll be at the Vigil Mass for Life at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception Thursday, and I may or may not be at St. Mary Mother of God Friday evening for TLM. PM me if you'll be at one of these and want to meet up especially for the Vigil Mass because I think I'm going to be there all afternoon, or if you see the Notre Dame group at the March, start yelling for "Pax et bonum" and hopefully I'd hear and look for you :) I'll be wearing my Hufflepuff scarf, but it'll probably be mostly hidden under my black coat.

OK guys, unfortunately I'm going to have to sit this one out. I'm extremely sensitive to cold and I'm not sure these bitter temps are safe for me, especially all day.

 

I'm really disappointed, but I think this is the best decision. I'll be watching the whole thing from home and covering all of you in prayers.

 

And if anyone wants to hug me, track down Brian and hug him. He'll pass them on to me in two weeks. ;)

 

Somebody should make a cardboard cutout of me and bring it along. :hehe:

You missed the really cold weather this morning. It was about nine degrees or so. I think it was up to 14 by the time my daughter and I had left.
