I just got talked into going today. I'm nervous. I don't like large crowds. Can anyone please explain to me what the MFL is like? The more I know in advance, the better. I need to know what to expect.

Offer it up.  This crowd goes as far as the eye can see.  It's cold.  You won't sleep well.  They speak for a long time, but yet it is one of my fave things every year.  Almost 400,000 ppl mostly under 30 (Washington D.C. Can't fit any more or they would that is why California has there own March) who share a love for babies and a fear for what happens to them after this life get together and march peacefully and smile even when it's grim.  We chanted on the bus a couple years ago led by a good priest friend of mine

Fr. lists off some inconveniences we have experienced and says "Why?  Because we are on a..."

Teens.  and eventuallly the rest of the bus and always with a big smile respond "Pilgramage not a vacation."

tricky aint it?

It sure is.

I never have liked large crowds either.  Back at pulic school it was in my IEP that I couldn't be made to go to big events in the gym.  I have claustrophobia a little bit.  I have never had a problem with the March.  I look forward to it always.  If we do overturn Roe v. Wade I hope we can still have it lol.  You are bound to get separated from your group at some point but the bottom line is every one is safe and ends up back home and just as good (maybe a little sleep deprived) as they were when they left.  You could be sporting a Jesus high and all.  Your group like every other group is designed for you to find it again (Maybe they have special jackets, hats or scarfs).  I have been going since 2010 and my bus captian has been going longer than I have been alive.  They are pros no one gets left behind.  By the end you will be facebook friends with half the people on your bus.  There is nothing to sweat here.  Looking forward to hopefully seeing you all!!!!!
