Adrestia
Undergrad: I learned that I'd rather be a failure than a wimp. Life without risk is boring. It's okay to attempt things that seem terrifying. No one else cares or remembers if I make a fool of myself, so why should I? I should listen to people who believe in me & encourage me; the negative people can go fly a kite. Grad school: It's not just okay to say no, it's a good thing. The world will not fall apart if I refuse to take up someone else's slack. I should eat when I can, sleep when I can, & have enough clean underwear to last an entire month. There are pathological liars in the world, they really don't care who they hurt or how much damage they cause.
MissScripture
debt
This. Lots and lots of this. And a realization that I don't want to be a physical therapist. Unfortunately, that came in the last semester of PT school...
