DiscerningCatholic
I don't like your dog. Clearly, he isn't Dominican.

DiscerningCatholic
No, Dominic's mom had the dream about a dog with a torch in its mouth. But yeah, your dog is not Franciscan, either.

And, I know you miss your Sisters a lot, but right now you are doing one of the the most useful things you could be doing to prepare for the DSMME's--going to schoool. Since the DSMME's are a teaching order, the more knowledge you have, the more knowledge you can bring to your future students. Also, as you hope to become a Dominican, you have a lifetime of learning ahead, since that is an important part of Dominican spirituality. You've got four years of college (which is generally much harder and more work than high school) and summers full of classes to continue to increase your knowledge and keep it fresh--both spiritual knowledge and knowledge of the other subjects you are teaching your students. Maybe you can dedicate each school day to Christ, that you are learning as much as you can so you can serve him better for the rest of your life. Just a thought--you are not idly waiting to enter. You are actively preparing yourself for your future apostolate.
