Tony
You could always donate to a different cancer research foundation and tell her that you support her intentions that way.
Dust posted a small list of Catholic medical groups a few years ago http://www.phatmass.com/phorum/topic/73558-susan-g-komen-supports-abortion/ but I couldn't tell you how many are still around. I'd imagine all of them but not positive

DiscerningCatholic
[sup]SGK had initially stopped their Planned Parenthood funding last year, but because of the media storm against them backed away from their position. They still provide funding to Planned Parenthood (I think for Mamograms). [/sup]
One problem: Planned "Parenthood" doesn't actually offer mammograms. Awkward. IcePrincessKRS
They provide referrals for mammograms. And I think a very small number of locations actually have mammogram machines.

I heard a phone call that went like this between a Planned "Parenthood" clinic and LiveActionNews: PP: Hello, this is Planned "Parenthood", Eliza speaking, how may I help you? LAN: Yes, I was wondering, do you offer mammograms? If so, can I schedule one in the near future? PP: Well, we actually don't offer mammograms. You can try Christ Community Center down on Third Street, though. There were several other phone calls on that video that went the same way. TALK ABOUT AWKWARD. "We offer mammograms...well, actually, we send you down to the Christian Center in town. But we still send you somewhere else for your mammogram, so we technically do give mammograms." tinytherese
I remember years ago when I was discerning a vocation to the religious life having a conversation with a friend on the religious communities I was looking at and explaining to her why some communities wear habits. I mentioned the Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters who are nicknamed "The Pink Sisters" for the rose color in their habit and she asked if it was because they worked with breast cancer ministry. Oh dear. tinytherese
I find it sad that pretty much every organization from films to restaunts to even The Salvation Army (yes I know that they are a religious denomination and not a charity,) donate to Planned Parenthood. Why don't they donate to crisis pregnancy centers instead? Besides, considering how much money Planned Parenthood makes, isn't donating to them as silly as donating to Donald Trump?
