Tony Posted October 2, 2012 Share Posted October 2, 2012 The Eucharist (obviously) having Mary, and some great saints and angels on our side and something I think a lot of Catholics look beyond... redemptive suffering. If you're having a bad day, you feel ill, you have to do something you don't want to, your cat threw up, McDonald's burned your fries, whatever is giving you trouble.. you can offer up that suffering to God for the benefit of others, so that suffering isn't just suffering anymore.. it means something.
