brianthephysicist
I sat leaning on a tree for about an hour and when I went to get up, I discovered myself stuck to the tree. I was able to pull myself away and it was readily apparent that my shirt, my undershirt, and my back were drenched in sap. I just got out of a crazy extra long shower to clean the sap off my back, so we're okay on that front, but what do I do with my shirts? Right now they're sitting on the floor in a place where they can't contaminate anything else with the sap. My first opportunity for laundry is Sunday. How should I treat it before putting it in the laundry with my other clothes? and should I do anything with the clothes before that point? Is a regular washing machine the best option or should I try to hand wash? and if so, how do I hand wash? Thanks in advance for your help.
PhuturePriest
Gasoline. There is nothing stronger.
Basilisa Marie
I've used rubbing alcohol on small areas and it's worked pretty well. I'm not sure on large areas, but it might help. Whatever you end up using, I wouldn't put the shirts in with any other clothes if you can help it. Or just hand wash them after pre-treating/getting as much off as possible. PhuturePriest
Pfft. Yeah... Forrest Gump, maybe. But seriously, gasoline.
Vincent Vega
My clearest memory of the last guy who belittled CatherineM's advice was how beautiful his memorial service was.
PhuturePriest
The last person who belittled my post woke up with a pounding headache and a shirt drenched in gasoline.
