the171
She texted me and told me to post for her. She has Pagdet Schroeder Syndrome. She has been admitted to the hospital. There is also a blood clot in her arm. Please pray y'all. She is very sick.

Luigi
I just looked it up. Wikipedia says - thankfully - that it can usually be treated with heparin (medication) transitioning to warfarin (a lighter variety of the same medication?) and is rarely fatal. I'm gonna keep a good thought, and say a prayer, too.

Nihil Obstat
A lot of people find a diagnosis reassuring. Instead of the uncertainty of knowing something is wrong, but not knowing what it is, now you know what it is and you can put together a concrete, practical plan for addressing it. I know that was true for me. Hopefully with this diagnosis now she and her doctors can start making her healthy right away, and let her get her life back.
