I'm sooooo happy that you Got to have such a wonderful experience with the seminarians. You are right in the fact that they are men with hope to bring. I've been in the Moreau Seminary chapel, and it's such a beautiful experience to be a part of a Lucernarium in there. When I went, I actually went for a friend of mine's ordination to the priesthood for the congregation. It was amazing to witness that within the congregation. I'm praying for you, and God will lead you to where He wants you to be =)

I am back! I guess I should probably give you guys an update on what the weekend was like.

I was visiting the Old College, which is the Undergraduate Seminary for the Congregation of Holy Cross on the campus of Notre Dame.

It was a pretty amazing weekend, and I have a lot to reflect on. I got a chance to hang out with some great guys, and see the truly Catholic side of Notre Dame.

The seminarians were very welcoming, and there brotherhood with one another was very obvious.

When I got there, I went to a Philosophy class with my host at Notre Dame. I had expected myself to be totally lost, but surprisingly, I followed along on a few things. After we went to their community Mass at Moreau Seminary which is the Congregation's Graduate Seminary. It's about a ten minute walk from Old College.

One of the first 'Most Amesome Moments' of the visit was that Mass with the whole community and the later Lucernarium, which is a form of night prayer.

The second "MAM" was saying Morning Prayer with the guys from Old College in the "Log Chapel", which is a reconstruction of one of the first buildings on campus.

It was in this Chapel, that during a Mass/Morning Prayer/Holy-Hour extravaganza that I think I received the answer that I was looking for over the weekend. But I need to reflect on this some more, before I can make my decision. Therefore I will not yet announce what the answer that I may have received was.

The other MAM was at 12 Midnight on Saturday night. When most college-age guys would be partying or sleeping, these guys had a better idea. "Hey, let's go say a rosary at the Grotto!" And so we did, a rosary at the replica Grotto of Lourdes on campus. It's was amesome.

All in all, it was a great weekend. I have developed an intense love for the Congregation, and will always be a fan even if I don't join them. They are definitely a great and holy bunch of "men with hope to bring."

Thank you for all of the prayers!!

These pictures make me very nostalgic. Some of my best friends when I went to Holy Cross were the men in Old College.
