LinaSt.Cecilia2772
Some of One Republics music is good. I LOVE Tenth Avenue North, a Christian band that does a lot of relevant songs to the everyday life. Josh Blakesley Band is a Catholic band which is good, Jackie Francois, Lifehouse, Jeremy Camp, Brandon Heath, Switchfoot, The Fray, JJ Heller, Leeland, One Sonic Society, and many others that I can't think of at the moment. dUSt
The title of this thread is weird. What does "don't be lame" mean?

To Jesus Through Mary
You could go with some of teh classics: Bing Crosby Frank Sinatra Englebirt Humperdink Louis Armstrong Dean Martin Or you could go with some praise and worship: Jeremy Camp David Crowder Matt Maher Jesse Manibusan Casting Crowns Or you could go with general Christian music: U2 DCTalk Five Iron Frenzy Reliant K Jars of Clay Ceili Rain There's tons of music out there. If you know of one band/artist that you already like, then it'd be a little easier to provide recommendations .
I LOVE 5 Iron Frenzy!! In youth group (many moons ago) they were my absolute favorite band to see live. They came once with "The Ws" Most haven't heard of them so I was surprised to see them in your list! txdinghysailor
I like Dispatch, and O.A.R. They're like light rock/country ish kind of bands. They don't have Christian messages, but most of their songs are upbeat and fun to listen to. Great bike riding music

Killer guitar-work. Two Tons of Steel Very cool, very danceable 50s-influenced, San Antonio-based "countrybilly" band. Scythian D.C.-based Irish/Celtic fiddlin' band. Everything from traditional Irish to Americana and Gypsy and Eastern European sounds. I knew the guitarist and fiddler/vocalist growing up. The guys are all practicing Catholics. Edited September 24, 2012 by Socrates
