Anastasia13
One of my friends said that if your Catholic, and you want to get married in the Catholic Church, you have to marry another Catholic because both parties need to be Catholic. I thought it was just one party as long as the other agreed to still raise the kids Catholic. How does this work and why?
CatherineM
You can marry a non- Catholic. There are a few more hoops to jump through, but in many dioceses there are more mixed marriages that double catholic ones.
