I was just reading this earlier today.

This may seem paradoxical, but I really admire how their blog lets me know that I am not called there. What I mean is that many blogs/websites of communities leave you with a vague, "They are really beautiful... Maybe I should schedule a visit??" type of feeling that leaves you more confused in your discernment than before you even clicked on the blog! They can be great for providing information, but are just vague enough to where you still aren't sure whether you are called there. The Passionist blog does a fantastic job of painting a really detailed picture of their life. I found it helpful when I was discerning Passionist spirituality, and even more so in the process of realizing I wasn't right for them. It is a great [i]discernment[/i] blog, which is ultimately the main purpose of most community's blogs. I would include the Summit Dominican nuns' blog on this list as well.
