Parrish At Full Scale Civil War.

My parish is baying for blood. On the Birthday of Saint Mary the Mother of God a couple weekends ago our amesome deacon gave a homily on how our culture is destroying women even though it says it's helping them. By hurting a women's fertility they can do what men do and then are "Equal". Deacon points out how evil and flawed this is. Many people left the church forever before the end of the homily including people on the Youth Ministry commitee with me. Took there kid out of the band and the other kid out of the YM program. Angry phones calls are just stopping coming in. Now next weekend our liberal and spineless priest apologized and said there will be nothing coming out like that from homilies here from now on. I work at church now and Father, not deacon, signs my paychecks. I certainly not overquaified for my job and was suprised to get it in the first place. Deacon is in the right and his daughter is one of my very best friends. She's on the YM commitee. I side wtih Deacon. I pray and hope, and hope you will pray, for me to have the strength to continue to do that. The parrish is also very edgy and nasty and unChristlike in every thinkable way. It's very much Deacob's people v Father's people. I (And you to please!!!) pray they don't relocate Deacon and that we can work on converting the liberals and healing the wounds done by the nasty fighting that hasn't stopped in this volitle parrish.
