Does variance in more than one preference over the years mean I'm crazy? :paperbag:

Nah, it's probably something to do with AnneLine's post. I have a friend who is certified in administering the test, and she's told me that if you're close to the middle you can fluctuate depending on your mood or what you're focusing on in life at the moment. I'm way more into my F and P when I'm on vacation as compared to when I'm at work. We all have our natural preferences, but many of us learn to do well with a different "preference" in order to cope with a problem. I'm an I, but I developed a lot of E traits so I could do well in presentations in school and be a good Resident Assistant in college when I was meeting new people all the time. Stuff like that. :)

Staying off the internet and signing up for a local chapter of St. Paul's Street Evangelization. :hehe2:

I am an ESFJ, weird thing I am 89% extrovert, 6% sensing over intuition, which sensing and intuition seem practically the same thing to me, 38% feeling?, 22% judging. The test is bunk as several questions do nto apply to me at all, the getting involved in office social.. is one as I am self employed. There were several more, so I answered as well as I could. The trouble with tests like these is they to pigeonhole everyone into categories the preconceive. Being on time to appointments is courtesy and respect, not a personality trait, being more interested in finishing a job quickly is a matter of economics, not a trait that you can define, certain jobs require yoy do them quickly for reasons such as materials used, or requirements of the employer.

But hey, it was amusing.

INF/TP

I go near the middle of the line when it comes to the "thinking/feeling" distinction, but overall I think the test has some amount of accuracy. I'm not too knowledgeable about personality psychology but I'll probably study it in the near future and have a more well formed opinion.

I at least think the test is pretty cool, if that counts for anything :)

Forgot to post my actual results with percentages:

You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (78%)

You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (38%)

You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (38%)

You have marginal or no preference of Judging over Perceiving (1%)
:idontknow:

Just noticed it says "marginal or no preference of Judging over Perceiving" so that seems reasonable... I guess I like to do a bit of both...

counting these up there are more INFJ's on phatmass, with INFP being a close second but combing them (via the poll on the other thread), phatmass is rather INTJ. (the T/F and J/P's are close though) Interesting :)
