IGoing to daily Mass there is painful enough. They do what I call the speed Mass. It seems the priest is trying say the Mass as fast as he can. Has anyone else experienced such?

I had that experience visiting a (fairly liberal) religious community. The sister said "that was nice" to which I replied "that was a microMass." The Mass was over and done in 15 minutes. I hate them.

Now ... I've been on retreat at times, where the Mass was done in a timely manner (not a super long homily, 3-5 people present, etc.). The Mass takes about 20, maybe 25 minutes. But it doesn't feel short, nor does it feel rushed. Those -- that's fine. Now if there were 100 people present and it still took 20 minutes, idk, I think it would qualify for status as a microMass.

What kills my heart is the dishing out of Holy Communion like dealing cards.
