Yeah, I'm basically relying on prayers to help me out with this one. I have no where near enough guts to ask him out. Just by sitting next to him at dinner yesterday, I lost my appetite I was so nervous. lol! But today, I made a deal with myself, If he don't take any interest in me by December after lots of praying, I will just forget about him. I don't want to lose myself in chasing after someone I don't really even know yet! Haha! I'll just be myself and let God do the rest! (I'll help him out some, of course, but yeah...) :saint2:

I feel dumb for letting my feelings take over my reasoning skills! Never knew crushes could be so intense! :hehe2:

Pray for me though, that this whole thing will work out! Thanks!

Don't worry a thing about being shy. I don't know if it's just me, but if a girl is shy I find it incredibly cute and I take an even bigger interest in her than if she wasn't. Just relax and know he is like every other person in the world. Talk to him, ask him about his family, see what his likes and dislikes are, etc. Soon enough if he at least knows common courtesy he'll be asking you about your family, your likes and dislikes, and before you know it your conversations will grow deeper and more meaningful and he may end up asking you out.

Yeah... I don't know what to think. I feel like God is telling me he is my future husband but when I hear myself actually say that out loud I feel so weird about it!

For those who are married, was it love at first sight, a feeling of just knowing or was it gradual? I feel like God is speaking clearly to me but at the same time, I'm not sure if it's just me talking to myself! I could just wait it out, but that would take so long! Ugh! Patience really is a virtue! Haha!

As soon as I spotted my wife in the mail-order bride catalog, I was certain she was the one. It's pure coincidence she was discounted 25%.

most of the time, you're not gonna hear a clear "do this now please" from God. make it up as you go along.

two extra things: this thread is proving that my love for Hasan is pure.

and I wish God the Father posted more. Just listen to his voice.

Well my approach is usually to make it pretty clear that I like the guy by doing things like talking to them, hanging out if they ask me to, and smiling when I'm with them (as many may attest, this is what I usually look like anyway though). I would feel wayyy too weird/shy to ask a guy on a date. Basically my goal is usually to make it clear that I Iike being around them, and see if anything progresses from there.

Unrequited crushes can be so painful when they are happening, but after you get over it, you realize it was silly.

I punch the guy in the stomach. Hard. Then run away.

That's the way you do it.

I can all but guarantee that this is what Katy would have done to me, had we known each other in person rather than over this site.
