ContemporaryCaflicCrusader
The annual question you ask yourself regardless of age this time of year. They will want me in costume at work and I want to have a prize winning costume that I will be able to play paintball in with ease. They can be two different costumes. I don't wanna ruin anything. For the record I haven't been allowed to trick or treat since the 9th grade and I didn't agree with that call. Now that I'm in my 20s... ya that'd be wrong lol. I don't wanna repeat old costumes and I will post pix of the costumes I do on this thread. Lead ideas so far are a ninja, and... Ya I'm already running out of ideas. PhuturePriest
I'm (Hopefully) going to be a Franciscan Friar. This depends on whether or not I am actually able to sew a Franciscan habit or if I give up and order one online.

Luigi
A bedouin. Wrap an old sheet around yourself; tie it at the waist with a rope. Wrap an old kitchne towel around your head; anchor it any way you can figure out. When you show up for paintball, you'll be everyone's favorite target. Chrysophylax
One of my brothers went as a dwarf (Gimli) once. We had a really cheap black wig that he cut up and made into a beard, and he used cardboard, and a bucket and black duct-tape to make a really cool ax and helmet. He wore fun clothes, of course, too. And (the best part) he brought my Dad's knee pads (for doing construction / handy-man projects, and when we came to a house he would kneel down so he looked really short. ContemporaryCaflicCrusader
Sheesh. I shoulda put this topic in the open mic. House might be ok for work, but halloween paintball is my one excuse to dress like a badarss all year and ppl wont think I'm a nut. A list of things I have been Skeleton Robot Football player Pirate (Kinda) Soldier Viking Harry Potter Dementor Freddy Kreuger Indiana Jones V (Maybe my best costume ever still hanging around somewhere and I beleive I would fit in it, but I'd like to mix it up and haven't you heard? "No capes!") The Scarecrow DC comics Batman super lame editon w/o tights of anykind I promise Iron man super lame editon If I dress up as Hasan everone will think I'm the lady (I use the term loosely here) from Lollipop Chainsaw (No I have not played that game). I'm not a Lord of the Rings guy. Yes many a family member and friend has at least partially disowned me for that and it would be hard to be a 6'1" dwarf. Good luck on your costumes guys. What do you think of me being some pro wrestler or... I dunno. Something from star wars or... something, badarss but not too too expensive. Ed Normile
Why not be Swamp Thing ? I made a costume for my son once, actually I did this many times, yet Swamp Thing was the easiest and cheapest to make and tons of people recognized it and high fived him and said " cool swamp thing " and "great costume " all night long. I used three colors of green face paints and bought a cheap decorative vine with large leaves on it and glued the leaves on to a green sweat pantaloons and shirt. It was really cool looking, and his favorite one, his second favorite one was Goro from Mortal Combat, I made two arms with panty hosed stuffed with cotton batting and sewed hands onto them, these I attached to his shirt, which was a tan long sleeved t-shirt with abs drew on it, I used thread to attach the arms to the area below his arms and thread to attach the fake arms to the end of the sleeves so the arms would move with his arms. Winnie, my wife, had a pony tail thing she attached to his hair. The only problem was that although most everybody loved this outfit, about 8 little kids got so scared they cried and ran away from him and their mothers were kind of mean about it. ed
