A Death And A Birth

One of my first friends ever (1st grade-elementary school classmate) passed away this afternoon from cancer. Please pray for the repose of the soul of America Valenzuela.

Also, at the same time and in the same hospital, while America is taking her last breaths, my co-worker's daughter is giving birth! A beautiful baby. I don't know the sex or a name, because her daughter is giving the baby up for adoption, and that information was not disclosed in the mass text sent out to all our co-workers. I think it is extremely difficult for them to be giving up the child for adoption. I am very proud of her daughter for doing the right thing and not having an abortion. At the same time, I know it is crushing her heart. She is going to need lots and lots of prayers. Especially because she has 48 hours to change her mind. Please please pray for her.
