For Successful Fundraising

I'm helping to raise money for a youth group to go on a pilgrimage/youth meeting. We need about $10,000 and at present there is no way we can manage to send them. The pilgrimage is for young people whose lives have been directly affected by violence and I think it would be a very healing and prayerful opportunity for many of our youth. Please pray for the success of the project.

I'm going to contact the airline tomorrow to ask if there is any way that they could donate seats, as well as writing to a bunch of other people who might help. But I'm feeling dispirited as so many of the people and parishes whom I've asked for support just haven't replied at all, even though I was careful not to pressure anyone for money - prayers are just as important, and I did emphasize that.

We have until the end of September to raise enough. Please pray.
