ConfusedCatholicGuy
Been pretty dang sick today. Thanks to everyone who has been praying for me. May you receive a share in the graces of my suffering.
I can attest to his sickness. I've been over here for a few hours and I think he has been awake for maybe a half hour of it. I don't think he spent much more time on his computer than to update this. arfink
The "getting over the flu" cocktail: Place 10 ice cubes in a blender. Pour apple juice to cover ice. Add a splash of cold water. Blend the living daylights out of it. Drink with straw. BLISS
AnneLine
You might also try a little cranberry juice mixed with 7 up..... not bad.... and you can probably do the trick with the ice and blender, too....
When I'm not being dizzy all the time I might go get some 7up. Perchance. Right now we happen to have apple juice, so yeah. Works for me. I am not sure I will be able to go to mass tomorrow. I am feeling punchy and less nauseated now, but I still get very dizzy and weak when I try to talk places. Wouldn't want to pass out in the middle of mass... AnneLine
And if you even remotely might have the flu, please STAY HOME, don't give it to anyone else. God has common sense -- stay home & sleep in....

arfink
I am feeling better by increments today. I did not wind up going to mass in the morning, but if I can be well enough to drive by this evening (really, of that I am doubtful) I might go to mass anyway. I tried eating something today. Progress!

arfink
Well, I'm pretty much fully recovered. Still got some aches in my sides and neck from being in bed for so long, but I imagine some brisk activity will sort that out in no time.
