And how cute is this... bet we could even make you one to match your avatar.... arfink
The sun has come out. It's bitterly cold, but hey, sun. SUN. I wish I had a greenhouse room. I would lay in a warm puddle of sunlight for hours. Mmmmmmmmm.
AnneLine
I have a greenhouse room... or at least a room that THINKS it is a greenhouse. An uninsulated one. It's FREEZING in the winter (all that glass), moderately comfy in the fall & spring (I'm in there right now 'cause my husband has a BAD cold and we don't want me to get more of one that I have already received from him.... and you're right, it feels like I am a cat when curled up in the sun (sorry, Fink....) ... but in another month or so that room will feel like it has migrated to the north pole.... and even a heated blanket doesn't deal with the cold... and in the summer... welll, we can feel the heat coming out of there with the DOOR CLOSED. And the window doesn't open/close, so it just has NO air at all. So imagine... from North Pole to Death Valley without moving a muscle.... arfink
So today I decided to revisit the crayon sketch I did on Sunday, reusing the color selection for the most part, but adding in some white. This one was done digitally this time. AnneLine
Pretty. Your tales of your frozen cell of a room reminded me of this. Ever seen Dr. Zhivago? It isn't Nero Wolfe (those had heating system in tht basement... and were about 80+ degrees all year... great if you were nero, but nasty if you were the gardening staff... couldn't go to bed till the temps were right....) LOVED the 'ice palace'.... did you know they did the special effects by tossing WAX all over everything? BOY it looked cold! arfink
You know, some days I feel like Nero Wolfe. And I bet I would snark like that too, if I had an assistant who did this all day:

arfink
I redid my resume tonight. It's finally up to my exacting layout and graphical standards. HUZZAH ALSO: this music is incredible. arfink
I applied for a job in Wisconsin today. No clue if it will work out at all, it's kinda a long shot, but it looked so enticing. I'm hoping I don't get anxious about it. Also of note: today my day job and my personal work overlapped nicely. I painted this: You can see it bigger on my blog by clicking the link in my signature.
