Theologian in Training
i often find myself finding things to pray for, coutless things. i dont knw what to do! what i mean is that there are so many things that i can (and i guess that i should) pray for that i dont kow which ones to actually pray for. if i praied (at least listed) them all in my prayers i could easly take and hour +. what can i do? is there a way to get them all in one prayer or so? thank you! tom ps- now i have to pray this gets answered!
Now you know why so many saints barely slept. It is difficult to pray every prayer, but not impossible, for all things are possible with God. I think in your situation, your zeal is to be commended, however, maybe you need to make another prayer to God, namely, what it is He wants you to pray for that will appease His Will. If we don't give God the chance to let us know then we will be going crazy doing all of these prayers, when God wanted something else of us. In that sense the Psalmist offers great insight, "It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep." Trust in God, ask Him, He will reveal to you what it is and who it is you should pray for. Let Him tell you, and be obedient to what He says.
