Byzantine
Is there a difference? If so, what is it?
CatherineM
I like to think of temptation as something we live with everyday. It's unavoidable unless you are in a coma. The near occasion of sin is a temptation that we have trouble being around without sinning. Example. Alcohol can be a temptation. Most of us can enjoy a glass of wine or a bottle of beer without needing to get drunk. For some being around alcohol is a near occasion of sin. People who have alcoholism shouldn't work in bars or liquor stores. Guys who have trouble with porno shouldn't work in adult bookstores.
