I dont know what book it was, but i do know that you got it in an audiobook format, because you don't know how to read.

hmmm, can anyone who reads this post phone Hasan and read it to him so he isn't excluded?

Why don't you just ask your mother to read it to me when we chat tonight?

As J_Lol has already pointed out this is a trick question since I am illiterate.

Well, then what book on tape/CD did you get?

Or does the medication make it too hard to pay that much attention to those?

I'm deaf so I find your question very offensive.

I will not bother with it then. No point in spending time on a critique like that if other people have already done deeper and more rigorous jobs.

I would not say that it is a waste of time if you are not familiar with basic philosophy and need a place to start. Kreeft attempts to make the ideas of different philosophers accessible by engaging the 'spirit of Socrates' in a narrative with others. It is meant to be basic and entertaining, which he does. It is very much written for the layman, not for study. It certainly isn't perfect, and Kreeft tries to inject a lot of humor, so there are some pot shots.

That's fair enough. But for something on that subject, I'd tend towards the 'more serious' works.

'The Limits of Capital' is probably the best modern exposition of Marxist political-economy available

The Main Currents of Marxism is probably the most comprehensive critique of Marxism. I haven't read it entirely. It's pretty massive. But the chunks I have read have been really great. From what I have read it was written as the author was coming to abandon his own Marxism so it's substantive because the author seems to be really thinking through these problems as he writes.

Actually I bought a copy of it about a year ago and have never had a chance to read it, but I've wanted to for a while. I take it you'd recommend it?

Honestly, I have not been reading much in the way of economics or politics in the last year. I enjoy Hayek, and I appreciate what he stands for, but at this point I have other interests that are taking precedence.
