Nihil Obstat
And wait -- it looks like there is some sort of liturgical book on the site.
Ah, siiiiiiick! I had been looking for that earlier, but had not managed to track it down. From what I understand, each of those "Qurbonos" is one specific Mass ordo and set of propers used at a particular time of the year. I do not quite understand how the whole things works though. cmaD2006
The liturgical seasons are different ... they have (I think if I counted right) 7 seasons? The last is the season of the Holy Cross. Now ... what I'm curious about is if they have a Qurbonos in Spanish. That I haven't seen yet.
Vincent Vega
Except ... I was saying I wanted a source other than Wikipedia. Is there anything wrong with that? I never said (read my posts) that I was "wantonly dismissing the source." As I said -- what you originally said was uncalled for. Again, all I said is that I wanted another source other than Wikipedia. I never even said "Wikipedia is unreliable" or "Wikipedia is all bad." I'm *really* not up for any snarky remarks. And I read yours as snarky.
Sorry. My response wasn't snarky, just terse. I read into your rejection of it as a source as being for the reasons you listed above, since I've never heard any other reason for rejecting it out of hand. Even if you hate wikipedia for whatever reason, the following non-Wikipedia resources all came from Wikipedia: http://www.maronite-heritage.com/LNE.php?page=Statistics http://www.stgeorgesa.org/ http://www.bkerkelb.org/english/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=143:-introduction&catid=35:maronite-identity-&Itemid=55 Encyclopedic articles tend to be good for a broad overview of information - such as that which you were asking about - so I could think of no other, rational reason for you to state that you didn't want to read it.
