arfink
I was trying to look something up in the Catechism and found that there are tons of references to other church documents which are abbreviated to things like "UR" and "Cf." and stuff like that. Is there a handy list of what these abbreviations mean?
Nihil Obstat
Is there not a list somewhere in the book itself for you? Perhaps near the index?

It doesn't show what abbreviations go to what document, but if you just spend enough time digging around it seems to become obvious which is which. Maybe I'll have to make myself a cheat sheet. CatholicCid
I was trying to look something up in the Catechism and found that there are tons of references to other church documents which are abbreviated to things like "UR" and "Cf." and stuff like that. Instead, "Cf." would be followed by document abbreviations or scripture passages, meaning that those items share a similar theme to the CCC passage you are reading.
