petitpèlerin
I've never wanted to be a nun. I told my spiritual father that I would be a nun if I could wear a hood. (I've been wearing hoodies half my life and feel naked without a hood.) Then I discovered the Sisters of Bethlehem. Now it's our joke that they're the "nuns with hoods". Wish I could figure out how to post a photo but I do love their habits: simple and monastic.

DameAgnes
Maryknoll was the first habit I fell in love with:
These sisters were founded by a former Maryknoll nun. Notice the similarities in the old habit and their new one, particularly in headdress. Although the new ones are the color of wine. http://www.cjd.cc/aboutus.htm

Right now I'm living in France. (Okay, I'm not really complaining: I love French, even though I still have a long way to go.) Anyway, great habits! I love the philosophy behind it, and I love the colors! And I'm enjoying reading their website. Thanks.
