Favorite Religious Habit

I didn't realize until this page of this thread that the PCPAs have a large crucifix on their right side. Que Lindo!!!!!

Cistercian Nuns have my favorite habit. The sleeves in particular. I don't feel called to that order, but the habits are lovely .

That is not their habit but their choir dress. I believe in English it's called a cowl. Benedictines have it too (in black). Their habits have normal sleeves ;)

The cowl sleeves are A[color=#000000]W[/color]ESOME. I remember sitting in choir thinking they looked like bats. :hehe: And every morning in the cloister at least one or two sisters would come in with the hems of their cowls upturned and someone would dart from their place to fix it.
It took me embarrassingly long to figure out why their sleeve length changed for Mass. :doh:

No point in posting another picture because everybody knows what it looks like, but it HAS to be the Carmelite habit - because it's Carmelite (naturally! ) :lol:
