[/quote] I don't think they are pins. For some reason I have never loved the PCPA's habits, although I LOVE Mother Angelica! I think it may be the square-ness/angular-ness of the veil.. Or it could be St. Maximilian Kolbe who promoted the Consecration to the Immaculate (he was a Franciscan, too).
