I don't think they are pins. For some reason I have never loved the PCPA's habits, although I LOVE Mother Angelica! :love:

I think it may be the square-ness/angular-ness of the veil..

It's a necklace. They receive it at first profession. When they enter, the PCPA wear a Miraculous medal with combined with another patron - which I can't remember.

St. Clare or St. Francis, perhaps?

Or it could be St. Maximilian Kolbe who promoted the Consecration to the Immaculate (he was a Franciscan, too). :)

They've been changing their website so I used the internet archive, but yes, it is St. Francis on the other side of the medal.

The collar and the closure in the front (not straight in the middle) I think. But Filius can correct me if I'm wrong.
