[/quote] I was at a parish recently where they use all three of these "measures", including the altar rail clothe. I was a bit confused though. They had it attached to the sanctuary side of the rail, then flipped it over the rail for communion. Following communion, they returned it to its original position. Is this normal? Or should it be removed and "purified" before being returned to the altar rail? (Imagine having to 'purify' such a long cloth as well!) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
