Everyday at 4, I make my brother and sister sit down and watch Truth In the Heart with me. Gotta love those dominicans!

I just ordered that shirt for my brother! :like:

He is going to wear it when he starts school soon. His school is Protestant and very anti-Catholic (still better than the public schools in my area), so he should cause quite a bit of commotion. He is a trouble maker, that one. :hehe:

PS: Surprisingly, his anti-Catholic school studies St Thomas Aquinas and St Augustine's writings, among other notable Catholics. The only problem is that they claim that these Saints were Protestants. :idontknow:

St. Patrick is often hijacked by protestants too. And St. Francis of Assisi. They like to pick and choose from their teachings.

Definitely! Of course, I can only speak for the Fundamentalists who taught me..a very small group. I am sure (or at least hope) that most know that these Saints were, indeed, Catholic.

This is why we never actually read the Summa. The 'tutors' as we called them printed out select passages and put them in a binder for us students to read. Although I think we received a hardback of St Augustine's Confessions to study. :idontknow:

In Greek 3, which was our third year of studying Biblical New Testament Greek, each student led a Bible study for the hour of class on the Greek text of a certain passage. I chose John 6. The teacher gritted his teach for a whole hour! His dentist must love him.

And don't get me started on how they said that Catholics added historically inaccurate books to the Bible!! Whew. Glad that phase of my life is over. :)
