Explain that you love your friend enough to not want to see him suffer lung cancer. By the time they heal your friend may be over the addiction, if not just the thought having to go through the smashing again should keep him smoke free. Glad to be of help! ed
This is an example of, according to philosophers, smokers have to deal with worse discrimination than American black in the 1950s. CatherineM
My doctor in Florida specialized in smoking issues. He said he got the best results with nicotrol inhaler. My former roommate quit using it after smoking for 40+ years. If they can't afford it, they can get it free from the company by having their doctor fill out a form. Innocent
This might help: http://www.e-cigaret...e-tutorial.html A friend of mine uses an Ego-T, but that might not work for everyone.

You could look into V Cigs, a friend of mine is on those and hasn't had a cigerrette since, and V CIGS have a variety of flavours.
Thanks, you both. I'll look up the Ego-T and the V Cig.
I saw someone smoking an e-cigarette on the bus once. I had to do a double take. Was a little bizarre.
Do you have any philosophical views on the e-cigarette? I usually find your opinions on things highly thought-provoking.
True, but it's too late for my friend to start using that method.
The main problem with e-cigarettes is the inconvenience of the small rechargeable batteries that seem to run out of life way to quickly. I'm waiting for the e-hookah myself.
In your experience, how long do the batteries last? And have you tried using a normal hookah? I'll look this up. Does this device resemble an asthma inhaler in appearance? Edit: I looked it up on Google and I find that it looks more like a cigarette, but fatter than a normal cigarette.
