Electronic Cigarette.

Recommended Posts

A friend of mine is trying to quit smoking. His birthday is coming up soon. I was thinking of gifting him an electronic cigarette.

Do any of you have any comments or suggestions?

I understand there are basically two models, the two piece unit consisting of battery+cartomizer and the thre piece unit consisting of battery+atomizer+cartridge for e-liquid. I am not sure about which one would be the better choice. Any ideas?

Thanks.

This might help: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/index.php/beginners-ecigarette-tutorial.html

A friend of mine uses an Ego-T, but that might not work for everyone.

You could look into V Cigs, a friend of mine is on those and hasn't had a cigerrette since, and V CIGS have a variety of flavours.

I've tried these before... A co-worker bought one and let me try it. Drags pretty real. He's a menthol smoker, so that taste was definitely there.

it didn't work for him.

You mean he went back to normal cigarettes?

Tell him to be sure to not smoke in the bathtub.

Why would that be a problem? Anyway, he doesn't use a bathtub. That's not a very common way of taking a bath here.

I saw someone smoking an e-cigarette on the bus once. I had to do a double take. Was a little bizarre.

This E-Cigarette business is interesting, but did Tab just make a grammatically flawless post?! I'm not making fun of you, Tab, I'm just shocked and proud at the same time. There was a typo, but that was on "cigarettes", and it is tradition for me to re-do the way I spell that word forty times.

The main problem with e-cigarettes is the inconvenience of the small rechargeable batteries that seem to run out of life way to quickly. I'm waiting for the e-hookah myself.

The best and easiest way to quit smoking is never to start.

Get a small 5 lb. sledge hammer and crush the thumb and forefinger on both your friends hands. Explain that you love your friend enough to not want to see him suffer lung cancer. By the time they heal your friend may be over the addiction, if not just the thought having to go through the smashing again should keep him smoke free. Glad to be of help!
