That does not compute.
ha. I totally lol.

PhuturePriest
I usually put my hands behind my back when I receive . Also ... just say "communion on the tongue." No need for a new acronym.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I hate acronyms with a passion.

PhuturePriest
No. Two different statements. I cannot eat wheat. He finds touching God upsetting to the point of tears (he's 9)
I am a little jealous of his absolute reverence. When I was his age I just went up because I loved bread. I had absolutely no reverence at all.

GeorgiiMichael
I almost always genuflect before receiving and I have never received communion in the hands. Cardinal Wuerl smiled at me today after i did that, although he might have just been smiling at everyone. He's a smiley guy. I started to try the full monty, kneeling and receiving on the tongue, then I got "pastoral correction" about how the American Bishops prefer us to stand while receiving. So I went back to my genuflect. I do that almost all the time except when I feel like it would cause unnecessary confusion (ie. too many people not enough space to genuflect). It just feels right. We genuflect towards Christ when He is in the tabernacle, why would we be less reverent when He is literally right in front of us and we are about to receive Him? Mark of the Cross
Today I saw a young boy receiving on his knees.
Must have been very flexible to get his knees to his mouth.
