I was doing some research for another topic here and came across a lovely website for the Carmelite nuns of Alhambra, CA. There is music in the background and it's so soothing that I have kept the website open to listen to it. It has really interesting pictures. I don't know if the nuns made the website or if someone made it for them, but they did a great job.

They do have a wonderful site and very informative! Unfortunately, I can't hear their music. I'll try again later. :) I realized I still have that Carmelite spirituality in me.

The music is just wonderful. I often find music on a website at best jarring but this just flowed with the pictures and it didn't cut out as you moved from page to page. Whoever designed their website did a very good job of it.

It's such a lovely website, it flows beautifully. I agree with Strictly about the music, I often find music on websites annoying but whoever did their website did a fantastic job.

I know what you mean. There are some websites like the ones for Port Tobacco Carmel or Terre Haute Carmel that sound like muzak. They are beautiful websites but they don't allow you to turn the music off. I often have to press the mute button when I visit the Terre Haute website because the harp music is particularly loud.
