Actually, I didn't actually stop reading there. I read the whole article. Which is good since it turns out that that section was from CNN. That was just the point which confirmed that he was politically unaware. That's like somebody noting the recent convergence of those who are suspicious of American foreign policy with the Occupy movement. Are there some people who sympathize with Occupy's concern with the emerging corporatism who are foreign policy hawks? Sure. But overwhelmingly, those who are suspicious with America's foreign policy are of the far left and those concerned with the nefarious role of finance are on the far left. It's the same with the tea-party and the Christian Right.
