Arfink

So I was perusing the Lame Boards and I saw that there were threads about a lot of random things. I thought that I would start one about my good ol' friend arfink.

I met arfink when we were in seminary together and we were paired together because we were the odd men out. Arfink was a little socially awkward and didn't know how to interact with people. I was suffering from undiagnosed depression and spent a lot of time in my room. So the formator on our floor urged the two of us to spend time together. We did and found that we really had a lot of fun together. Arfink was great with computers and things like that, plus he had really razzle dazzle video games on his computer. I had the skill of smiling and nodding when he started explaining something technical in great detail. In short, we got along splendidly. The formator actually came to regret his decision to pair us together because we started spending too much time together.

Arfink comes from a family that is extremely generous with their time, their talent and their treasure. I know that is a bit of a canned phrase, but it is true. They are spiritual powerhouses. His mom in particular has a strong devotion to St. Anthony because she named her first son, arfink, after him. He is particularly fond of her because of it and nothing stays lost long. They put up with me when I come over at least once or twice a week and even seem to enjoy my presence. They feed me every time I'm over and buy me t-shirts when they go out of town. In fact, they have informally adopted me into the family.

I am so grateful to arfink and his family for getting me through the rough times and supporting me throughout the whole time I have known them.

Let's hear it for arfink!

You have plenty of humility left. I make sure of it on a weekly basis. Don't worry, friends. He's in good hands.

I thank God for Arfink by name in my prayers on a regular basis. He's wicked amesome. Sorry I'm not into D&D or Minecraft, I just enjoy the Google hangouts and stuff. Fink is a good artist too.

Don't worry...! When I open this thread in internet explorer, the page tab reads "Arfink - Immatur..."

Maybe this is just the dose of humility you need :)

Now that I think about it, this whole forum keeps everyone honest and, if not humble, at least honest.
