Papist
Papist was talking about having one in South Carolina. Also, nobody is stopping someone from saying "Hey guys, my house is open to all phatmassers on ______ day!" If you want one in your town, feel free to host it.
I did? Where in South Carolina? Is it near me?

PhuturePriest
I like Will Wheaton. I'm not a Star Trek fan (Or I at least haven't really watched the show. I would probably like it if I started), but I do like Will Wheaton.
MissScripture
Also, we've been through this: Dodge City, despite its misleading name, is not a city in the way that people who live in houses from which one can see other houses think of cities. The city that my university is located in has five times as many people. For a comparison, Steubenville, OH - which I'd expect many people here to be familiar with - has only 5,000 fewer people than Dodge City. As people here can attest, Steubenville is hardly a booming metropolis.
Living in North Dakota, I learned the cruel irony of towns with the word "City" in their name... I watch that show quite frequently, and it got even better when they had an actual star from Star Trek on there, even if it was just for a few selected episodes. What's this thread about again? missionseeker
Can you blame us?, what's there to do in rural Kansas?
Absofreakinlutely NOTHING. I've been here since Sunday. It stinks rural Nebraska towns have SO MUCH more and they are tinier. I'm moving to dodge city tonight and not looking forward to it. I can't find anything gluten free which irks me. That said there IS a large Hispanic population here. I walk into grocery stores that remind of immokalee, fl. (primarily Hispanic). I mean a grocery store with six isles had four of them dedicated to Goya. Lol. Made me feel at home. Haha
