Spem in alium
Soccer's great. My whole family is into it. I played for about three years or so, but I thought it best to stop because of injury and my size (I'm small and would get trampled by the huge 30-year-old players). I also played 5-a-side, which was so fast and so fun After I quit I changed to boxing instead, but it wasn't the same Now I just watch my siblings play and catch the occasional match on TV. Soccer really is a beautiful game.

As far as I know it's usually played indoors, but I have to say I like outdoor futsal better Edited August 8, 2012 by Spem in alium
Tony
I played for like a year when I was 7 or 8. does that count? that USA vs Canada game was epic. I do admit we did get lucky. I don't think I've ever seen a goalkeeper get called for holding the ball too long mens or womens , let alone follow a penalty kick. There are going to be a lot of medal chances for the USA Thursday all across the olympics. US Women soccer playing for Gold, as well as women's water polo. we're favorites in a lot of track & field events that day too.

Slappo
I used to like American football way more than soccer, but now they're probably pretty close to tied . I just don't watch much of either... Both are like ten thousand times better than basketball and baseball though.

inunionwithrome
I used to play recreational back in the day. That is, until my ankles got too weak and I kept getting injured. Then, went to playing softball. A supposedly "safer" sport.
